Sharing Conversations

A shared conversation link lets someone read an analyst conversation without joining your campaign. Anyone with the link can view it, so review the conversation before sharing.

Create and copy a link

1. Finish the answer you want to share and review the conversation for information you do not want to make accessible through a public link.
2. Open the conversation’s menu and choose Share.
3. Review the Share Conversation dialog and its preview.
4. Choose Copy to copy the link, then send it to the intended reader.

Opening the dialog can create the share link automatically once the conversation is ready. Copy copies an existing link; it is not the step that first makes that link usable. Closing the dialog does not revoke it.

The dialog shows a shortened preview, not a complete inventory of everything a reader can access. Review the original conversation as well. Messages may include tables, tool results, or generated artifacts; do not assume only plain text is shared.

Which messages are included?

The link uses the share’s creation time as its message cutoff. Messages saved after that cutoff do not appear through the existing link. Continuing the conversation does not automatically extend the shared view.

Reopening Share normally returns the existing active link. If you need to include later messages, revoke the old link and create a new one after the answer finishes. Review the newly shared content before sending the replacement link.

Revoke access

Open Share on the conversation and choose Revoke access. This disables the link; it does not delete your original conversation. Anyone using the revoked link will no longer be able to open the shared view.

Revocation cannot remove copies a reader has already downloaded or captured. A newly created share has a different link, so send that replacement only if you intend to share again.

Common questions

Does the reader get access to our campaign or voter lists?

The link grants access to the shared conversation, not campaign membership or permission to manage lists. Information already included in the conversation can still be visible to the reader.

Why is the latest answer missing?

It may have been saved after the link was created. Wait for the answer to finish, then revoke and recreate the link if you want to share the later messages.

Is the preview the whole shared conversation?

No. It is a shortened preview. Read the conversation itself before sharing, especially if it includes voter information, uploaded material, or generated files.

What if a link stops working?

It may have been revoked, expired, or refer to a deleted conversation. Ask the person who shared it for a current link.
